Our New Building!

Nearly 10 years ago Trinity Presbyterian Church of Lakeland began developing a vision for planting healthy and vibrant churches throughout Polk County.  Trinity has since given birth to four new churches in the area, with one of the four being Redeemer Lakeland.  It began with a core group of thirty people meeting in various locations on Sunday evenings to pray and encourage one another.   In 2008, Rev. David Martin was called as the pastor and we began worshiping at R. Bruce Wagner elementary School, which was centrally located in the target area of South Lakeland.  Redeemer became a particular church within the Presbyterian Church of America on January 30, 2011.  In December of 2014 we purchased 3.5 acres of land at 1520 w. Pipkin Rd. for our future home.  From June 2015 to December 2016, we were able to rent space from Ardella Baptist church, all the while working toward our goal of building our church debt-free.  Currently, we have been able to raise $783,150 of our $800,000 building fund goal (which included maintenance funds), and we were able to complete the building and hold our first worship service there on Christmas Eve of 2016!  Below are a few pictures taken along the way.
